PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a watermarked electronic pen paper in which a watermark by a printing ink is vividly visually recognized and described information described by an electronic pen in the watermark part can be surely read. SOLUTION: When information is described on an information description surface of the electronic pen paper used for a data input system, by the electronic pen, a dot pattern printed in the vicinity of the place where a pen point is placed is read by an imaging part built in the electronic pen and transmitted from a transmission part mounted on the pen to an outside communication device. A patterned watermark of the watermarked electronic pen paper is printed by the ink without absorbing light in infrared region on the back side of the surface on which the dot pattern is printed.
