PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote locking system capable of more rapidly and positively locking a stolen mobile communication terminal. SOLUTION: When performing a transmission request and a position registration request to a communication network including a base station 51, a mobile communication terminal 2 determines whether a signal received from the communication network includes a stop request signal for instructing to lock the mobile communication terminal 2. If it includes the signal, the terminal 2 prohibits the use of subscriber data 34 and stops a function of access user data 31. Also, on receiving a transmission request from the mobile communication terminal 2, the communication network refers to a subscriber information database 46 to transmit a stop request signal when the mobile communication terminal 2 is an unauthorized one or when a function stop instruction is set.
