PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power transmission device capable of suppressing generation of noise. SOLUTION: The power transmission device includes: a first transmission unit 90 capable of transmitting a power generated by a motor MG2 to an output shaft 61, via a first gear 62 which is integrally rotatable with the output shaft 61 where a power generated by an internal combustion engine 10 is transmitted, and a second gear 24 engaging with the first gear 62; and a second transmission unit 91 having a different power transmission type from the first transmission unit 90, and capable of transmitting the power generated by the motor MG2 to the output shaft 61 using an axial force generated along an axial direction of an axis of rotation C2 of the second gear 24 by an axial force generation section 96.
