PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition in which adherend contaminating property is suppressed and which has excellent transparency of a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer thereof. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition contains 100 pts.mass of a (meth)acrylic copolymer having a weight average molecular weight of 100,000 to <1,000,000 and 0.1-5 pts.mass of a carbodiimide type crosslinking agent, wherein the (meth)acrylic copolymer comprises 0 to <0.5 pt.mass of a carboxyl group-containing monomer, 0.6-9 pts.mass of a hydroxy group-containing (meth)acrylic monomer and 99.4-90.5 pts.mass of a (meth)acrylic ester monomer.
