In an inverting arrangement according to the parent Specification the inductively coupled windings are wound on a saturable core. With this arrangement their inductance is reduced, except at the commutation period, and the voltage drop across them is reduced. Preferably the cores have a small remanence, but auxiliary windings may be added to counteract hysteresis effects.</p> |
