The present invention relates to a method and system for hierarchically matching images of buildings, and to a computer-readable recording medium. According to one embodiment of the present invention, provided is a method for hierarchically matching images of buildings, comprising: (a) a step of matching a wall surface of a specific building, contained in images of buildings inputted as a query, with the wall surface of a building contained in at least one panoramic image; (b) a step of selecting, from among the panoramic images, candidate panoramic images which contain a building having a wall surface identical or similar to that of the specific building, as a result of matching wall surfaces of buildings; (c) a step of matching a local area in the specific building with the local area in the relevant building contained in the candidate panoramic images; and (d) a step of determining, from among the candidate panoramic images, n high-rank panoramic images having a high matching accuracy, as a result of the matching of the local areas. |
