PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner which reduces a driving force when a front face panel opening/closing an air suction port is driven. SOLUTION: The air conditioner includes: a casing having the air suction port and an air blowout port located below the air suction port; the front face panel opening/closing the air suction port; an air blowing fan sucking indoor air from the air suction port and blowing out the air from the air blowout port; and an indoor heat exchanger provided on the air suction port side of the air blowing fan. The front face panel is constituted of a plurality of division panels divided in the height direction, and the upper division panel located in the uppermost position in the height direction out of the plurality of division panel is connected to a panel drive mechanism opening/closing the front face panel via an upper drive arm.
