PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily produce a coating film on the processing face and the shoulder of a die to prevent damage to the surface of a work piece. SOLUTION: There is disclosed an apparatus for producing a film, which apparatus includes a resin ejecting member 2 ejecting an abrasion resistant photocurable resin R onto the processing face of a die K, a scraping member 3 comprising a scraper 32 that flattens the resin R ejected onto the processing face of the die K to form a coating film of a prescribed film thickness, and a light radiating member 4 that radiates light for curing the resin R, each aligned in the longitudinal direction of the die K one after another in this order. The resin ejecting member 2 includes a tank 11 for storing the resin R, a valve 13 that opens/closes an ejection port 12 of the tank 11, and a pair of guide rollers 22 disposed on the front side relative to the ejection port 12. The light radiating member 4 includes a guide roller 44. The pair of guide rollers 22 and the guide roller 44 support the scraper 32 with a gap apart relative to the processing face of the die K, and movably guide the respective members in the longitudinal direction on the die K.
