The online service method of the present invention has story development divided up into stages and allows an online service for PC games which are normally sold in package units. To this end, the method of the present invention is devised in such a way that accessing users who have accounts can download and enjoy games, while a slot can be used to store information about the state of progress of the game at any time during the game. Users are able to enjoy games again, with the game progressing from the storage time in question by using a method involving calling up of the stored game information in the slot where it has been pre-stored.
