PURPOSE: An automatic opening/closing device for a window is provided to allow manual opening/closing of a window in case of a failure of a reversible motor. CONSTITUTION: An automatic opening/closing device for a window comprises a reversible motor(20) which generates torque, a sprocket(31) which is rotated by the torque provided from the reversible motor, a retracting part(30) which includes a chain rope(32), and a main body(10) forming an installation space for the reversible motor and the retracting part. The opening/closing of the window is implemented as the sprocket is rotated forwardly or reversely by the rotation of the reversible motor and the operating end of the chain rope connected to the window is moved back and forth.
