PURPOSE: A user authentication method using a graphic dial OTP and an authentication system thereof are provided to prevent the leakage or the hacking of a password by processing the authentication process based on an indicator offered to a web server, a security key card offered to an authentication server and the graphic dial OTP. CONSTITUTION: A user terminal(110) inputs ID/password to a web server(120) and receives the first authentication. An authentication server(130) transmits a security key card and the first indicator based on a processing result of the web server to the user terminal. The user terminal matches the first indicator in the security key card and recognizes the second indicator. The user terminal attempts the second authentication in an authentication screen due to a graphic dial OTP(One-Time Password) generation algorithm by using the third indicator consisting of an image or a special character which is matched in the second indicator. |
