<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To restrain a fall in printing efficiency in a printer that controls printing according to determination on the quality of a printed state. <P>SOLUTION: The printer includes a printing part for printing an image on a printing medium; a reading part for reading the image printed on the printing medium; a determining part for comparing the image read by the reading part, with a preset comparison image to determine the quality of the printed state of the image printed on the printing medium; a detecting part for detecting the presence of a person within a predetermined range including the printer; and a printing control part for controlling the printing speed in the printing part based on the determined result by the determining part and the detected result by the detecting part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
