<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load on a graphic engine so as to improve its processing speed. <P>SOLUTION: The graphic engine 32 of a host computer 1 outputs a drawing instruction of document data created by an application 31, and a printer driver 34 receives drawing instructions from the graphic engine 32, generates printing data contain arrangement information that indicates the arrangement of a logical page of the document data on a physical page, and transmits this printing data to a printer 2 through a system spooler 38.
