<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact surface mount crystal oscillator which has improved quality and productivity and to provide a method of manufacturing the crystal oscillator. <P>SOLUTION: In the surface mount crystal oscillator, through terminals 5x are formed on wall surfaces of through-holes formed in corners of a rectangular ceramic base 1, lead terminals 4a of crystal holding terminals 4 which hold a crystal piece 2 on the front surface of the ceramic base 1 are connected to the diagonal through terminals 5x, and mount terminals connected to the through terminals 5x are formed on the back surface of the ceramic base 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
