<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device of a liquid crystal base which efficiently dissipates heat produced by a backlight source. <P>SOLUTION: The display device includes: a liquid crystal display (410); a plurality of light emitting elements which are a plurality of light emitting elements (491, 492) for backlighting the liquid crystal display, which are arranged along one side face of the liquid crystal display (410); a backlight cover which is a backlight cover (480), which covers the regions of the plurality of light emitting elements (491, 492) and the liquid crystal display (410) in the front face of the backlight cover, and which is made of a heat-conducting material for dissipating the heat generated by the light emitting elements; and an electronic circuit assembly (820) which is positioned near the back face of backlight covers (1010, 1020). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
