PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light-blocking member for use in optical equipment, a light-blocking member which is highly slidable, which has the properties of a light-blocking film such as light-blocking and matte properties, and which also excels in heat resistance and durability. SOLUTION: The light-blocking member 1 for use in optical equipment includes: a film substrate 2 and a light-blocking film 3 formed on at least one surface of the substrate. The light-blocking film 3 contains a binder resin, carbon black 31, a granular lubricant 32, and particulates 33. The binder resin content and the granular lubricant content are≥70 wt.% and 5-15 wt.% respectively.
