PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lactate oxidase composition having excellent stability which is obtained by using a stabilizer which is easily available and has uniform quality and no effects on the appearance, performance and quality of enzyme products or compositions containing enzymes as a lactate oxidase stabilizer. SOLUTION: There is disclosed a lactate oxidase composition including (a) a lactate oxidase, (b) any one or more of compounds selected from a group consisting of saccharides, sugar-alcohols, amino acids, oligopeptides and proteins and/or (c) surfactants. In (b), sucrose,β-cyclodextrin, myo-inositol, mannitol, serine, threonine, glycine, asparagine, glutamine, glycylglycine, sericin and proteins derived from HSP-70 family protein and so on are preferably used, and in (c), sodium cholate, Triton X-100 and Tween 20 and so on are preferably used.
