PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control a clamp device by strengthening clamping force thereof for driving to a clamp body, a clamp rod which can be detachably attached to a clamp body. SOLUTION: A clamp rod has four annular engagement parts in the axial direction. A clamp body includes: four collet members having four annular pressing parts at four positions in the axial direction thereof as a plurality of collet members annularly arranged to form a part of a rod insertion hole and capable of shrinking/enlarging the diameter thereof by moving in parallel with each other; a hydraulic cylinder for driving the four collet members and the clamp rod in the approaching/retreating directions to clamp together; and a first guide mechanism for guiding the four collet members so that the diameter of the four collect members are shrunken and the plurality of annular pressing parts are engaged with the four annular engagement parts from over when the hydraulic cylinder drives to clamp together and for guiding the four collet members so that the diameters of the four collet members are enlarged and the four annular pressing parts are separated from the four annular engagement parts when the four collet members are moved upward when releasing the clamp.
