<p>Disclosed is a connector that can easily perform a rotary operation of a pressing member without enlarging the center in the widthwise direction of the pressing member. A pair of first controllers (33) that protrude to the rear from both sides in the widthwise direction of a pressing member (30) are provided to the back end of the pressing member (30), and by pushing each first controller (33) from upwards to downwards with the fingertips when pivoting the pressing member (30), it is possible to increase the length from the pivot point of the pressing member (30) to each first controller (33) (force point), and so it is possible to reduce the pressing force for pivoting the pressing member (30). In this case, a protrusion (33b) that protrudes upwards is provided to the rear end of each first controller (33), and so it is possible to reliably transmit pressing force using the protrusion (33b) as a brace. Furthermore, as each first controller (33) is disposed more to the outside in the widthwise direction of the pressing member (30) than terminals (20) are, the center in the widthwise direction of the pressing member (30) is not enlarged towards the rear.</p> |
