<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power generating cell for a solid oxide fuel cell, and the solid oxide fuel cell having suitable power generating performance and durability. <P>SOLUTION: The power generating cell for the solid oxide fuel cell includes: an electrolyte layer (32); an air electrode layer (30) arranged on one face of the electrolyte layer; and a fuel electrode layer (34) arranged on the other face of the electrolyte layer. The fuel electrode layer has a support fuel electrode (38) and an active fuel electrode (36) smaller in porosity than the support fuel electrode.
