<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the amount of data transfer for image memory when performing coding processing of multi-view point image data. <P>SOLUTION: When performing coding processing, an encoder 13d which performs coding processing for second view point original image data that are output from an imaging part 12 detects motion using first view point original image data that are output from an imaging part 11 and stored in a data storage part 13a as reference image data.
