<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control dynamics of performance such as a musical piece, according to a direction to which a user directs an operator such as a baton. <P>SOLUTION: A sound volume control device sequentially detects a direction in the baton 2, to which the user directs the baton 2, to transmit it to a mobile phone 4, and the mobile phone 4 receives direction information transmitted by the baton 2.
