PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a prosthesis, such as stents, which hardly suffers from a variety of performance limitations including fishscaling, poor tracking, flaring, and unwanted twisting upon deployment. SOLUTION: The luminal prosthesis comprises adjacent expansible segments, typically meandering ring segments joined by sigmoidal links.
