PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely improve an image size accuracy of front and rear in both-side printing according to input image data. SOLUTION: The printing apparatus includes a paper expansion contraction amount predicting part 16 which predicts a paper expansion contraction amount from a time of depositing the ink of front-side printing to a time of starting rear-side printing on the basis of at least front-side input image data, an image correction amount calculating part 18 which calculates an image correction amount to correct a difference between an actual size of a front-side image and an actual size of a rear-side image of the paper when the ink of rear-side printing is deposited on the basis of the predicted paper expansion contraction amount, and an image data correcting part 20 which corrects at least either one of front-side input image data and rear-side input image data on the basis of the calculated image correction amount.
