PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waste sorting apparatus that efficiently sorts industrial waste by wind force, that contributes to recycling of industrial waste, and that causes no air pollution. SOLUTION: The waste sorting apparatus is configured to have an opening 16 with a filter 17 in a part of the top plate of a rectangular parallelepiped sorting chamber 10 for waste, with a first air blower 20 for suction installed in the upper part of this opening 16, with a mist generating device 18 installed in the periphery of the opening 16, and with the bottom plate 13 of the sorting chamber 10 structured to be opened and closed. On one side face of the sorting chamber 10, a suction device for waste is built that has a duct hose 30 having a sucking part 31 at the tip end, with the tip end of the sucking part 31 arranged on the surface of a vibration sieve device 40 that conveys waste.
