PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat insulating housing and a method of manufacturing the same, which improve assembling workability while ensuring strength of a bottom wall of the heat insulating housing. SOLUTION: In this heat insulating housing 2 configured by assembling an inner box 30 in a rectangular outer box 10 opened on its front face, and foaming a heat insulating material to charge the same between both boxes, the outer box 10 has side face materials 11, 11 configuring right and left both side faces, and a bottom face material 12 fixed to the side face materials at both end sections to configure a bottom face. Reinforcement members 31, 32 are fixed to a heat insulating material 40 side of the bottom face material 12 along front and back sides of the bottom face material 12, and both end sections of the reinforcement members 31, 32 are fixed to the heat insulating material 40 side of the side face materials 11.
