摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a game machine which does not produce a sense of incongruity in the story performance for a user in a game machine which carries out a limited probability changing play in which a probability changing status after a special play status ends in a short period of time. SOLUTION: The game machine includes a story performance means which carries out a story performance finishing a series of story in a limited probability changing play, a changing pattern-storing means which stores a not-win changing pattern where a period of time obtained by dividing a story finish period of time by a maximum changing times of a special symbol in the limited probability changing play is set as a changing period and two or more win changing patterns where different changing periods of time corresponding to the number of stored special symbols are set, and a changing pattern selection means which selects a changing pattern according to the result of a win-or-lose determination. The performance means makes progress of a story performance only for a changing period of time set by changing patterns. If the changing period of time is shorter than the remaining period of story time, the story is made to proceed from after the progress for the period of time obtained by reducing the changing period of time from the remaining period of story time.
