A ball return path for a ball screw is formed within a nut (1), and ring-shaped non-contact seals (4) are disposed on both ends of the nut (1) in the axial direction. In addition to a grease supplying hole (8), a suction hole (7), which penetrates the nut (1) in the radial direction, is formed along the track of the ball (3) (a rolling path formed from the spiral groove [1a] of the nut [1] and the spiral groove [2a] of a screw shaft [2]). As a consequence, dust generated within the nut will be prevented from exiting, and a ball screw having a superior effect of reducing dust generation than conventional ball screws can be obtained. |
