The invention is a method for housing a marine submersible instrument (2), comprising: - providing two or more shell portions (3a, 3b, 3c) for forming a complete shell (1) with a cavity (11), - assembling said shell portions (3a, 3b, 3c) around said instrument (2) thereby forming an enveloping shell (1), - arranging one or more ropes (5) to bind said two or more said shell portions (3a, 3b, 3c) together in their assembled positions about said instrument (2). |
