WAVEGUIDE PLATE FOR 3D IMAGE DISPLAY AND 3D IMAGE DISPLAY APPARATUS EMPLOYING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A light guide plate for 3D image display and a 3D display apparatus adopting the same are provided to be easily manufactured at a low cost and to be variously designed. CONSTITUTION: A flat type transparent body(11) includes the first incidence face(11a) and the second incidence face(11b) at both sides facing each other and an emitting face(11c) at a front side. A plurality of viewing zone separate units(12) are arranged adjacent to the emitting face within the transparent body. The viewing zone separate unit includes the first reflecting face(12a) and the second reflecting face(12b). The first reflecting face is elongated in a direction in parallel to the first incidence face. The second reflecting face is elongated in a direction in paralle to the second incidence face. The first light, incident via the first incidence face and transferred via total reflection within the transparent body, is reflected on the first reflection face and is emitted via the emitting face. The second light, incident via the second incidence face and transferred via total reflection within the transparent body, is reflected on the second reflection face and is emitted via the emitting face. The first light and the second light are separate in different viewing zones.
