PURPOSE: A damper of a hydraulic breaker is provided to effectively damp noise and vibration when the hydraulic breaker hits. CONSTITUTION: A damper of a hydraulic breaker(1) consists of an upper damper(6a) and a lower damper(6b). The upper damper is interposed on three surfaces in a housing to cover the left and right surfaces and the rear surface of the cylinder of a main body(3). The lower damper is interposed on four surfaces in the housing to cover four surfaces, the front, rear, left and right surfaces, of the front head of the main body. The upper and lower dampers formed in a dual structure in a state a heat resistance and abrasion resistance material of nylon late and an urethane plate are overlapped. The urethane plate is formed in a manner that a plurality of soundproof grooves to form an air layer on the outer surface making tight contact with the inner surface of a housing(2) are successively formed in longitudinal and transversal directions at regular intervals.
