摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a glass based on SnO, P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, and B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, which glass has low-temperature softening characteristics, does not undergo chemical durability deterioration even when it experiences a heating step such as mold press molding, joining, welding, sealing, and sintering, and does undergo little chemical durability deterioration even when used over a long term. <P>SOLUTION: There is provided an SnO-P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>-B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based phase-separated glass containing SnO, P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>, and B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>and constituted from a first phase having a relatively high B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>content and a second phase having a relatively low B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>content, which SnO-P<SB>2</SB>O<SB>5</SB>-B<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>-based phase-separated glass is characterized in that the first phase contains 0.5 mol% or more (in total) of at least one member selected from among Al<SB>2</SB>O<SB>3</SB>, MgO, CaO SrO, and BaO. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
