PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recording apparatus that prevents periodic variations of transfer direction caused by an eccentric center of gravity and reduces deteriorated images such as interference fringes in recorded images, thereby achieving satisfactory image recording with an inexpensive structure. SOLUTION: The inkjet recording apparatus records images to a recording medium by alternately repeating scanning operation that moves a recording head to eject ink along the recording medium based on the recorded images and transfer operation that transfers the recording medium in a direction intersecting with a scanning direction using a transfer roller. The inkjet recording apparatus includes driven rollers 2 (18, 19) that rotate influenced by the rotation of the transfer roller 1 and sets the ratio of perimeter of the driven roller to a recording width of the recording head 4 to become almost integer fraction.
