PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a molded product, with which a molded product having a structure in which a plurality of columnar structural bodies with a refractive index different from that of a matrix are aligned in a nearly identical direction and are arranged in a regular grid-shape in a surface vertical to the aligning direction, in the matrix composed of a photo-polymerizable composition, is continuously produced. SOLUTION: The method for producing the molded product includes: a step of arranging the photo-polymerizable composition on a support; a first light irradiation step of making the photo-polymerizable composition on the support irradiated with light via a mask pattern while transferring the support with the photo-polymerizable composition arranged thereon; and a second light irradiation step of making the photo-polymerizable composition on the support irradiated with parallel light with a nearly constant optical intensity distribution and to complete curing of the photo-polymerizable composition on the support.
