PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling of a blast head because of, for example, breaking of a support member owing to abrasion, damage, etc., by coke in coke dry quenching equipment. SOLUTION: This coke dry quenching equipment is provided with: a pre-chamber; a cooling chamber leading to a lower portion of the pre-chamber; a cooling gas feeding means for feeding the cooling gas into the cooling chamber; and small flues divided in plurality in a periphery of the pre-chamber. The equipment is also provided with: a blast head support member 71 disposed in a lower portion of the cooling chamber; a main blast head set on an upper portion of the support member 71; and a small blast head 73 of one or more stage disposed by suspension through a hanging tool in a lower portion of the support member 71. The hanging tool has a multiple structure that has an outer cylinder hanging tool 76 connecting the support member 71 and the small blast head 73, and an inner cylinder hanging tool 77 having a seat 78 which catches the small blast head 73 when the outer cylinder hanging tool 76 breaks.
