PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an access point capable of executing the same data setting for other access point, by notifying the other access point of the setting data of the access point for which data are already set, in order to save the labor of the data setting for the respective access points without installing a parameter server or the like. SOLUTION: A radio access point has: a communication parameter setting/updating unit for setting or updating communication parameters; a specified beacon signal transmission unit for adding specified data to beacon signals and transmitting them; and a beacon signal reception unit for receiving the beacon signals from the other access points. When the specified data are included in the received beacon signals, the communication parameters are extracted from the specified data added to the specified beacon signals, and a part or all of the extracted communication parameters are set or updated as the communication parameters of the present access point itself.
