PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve to pinpointedly reproduce audio-visual expression included in a video or sound on a computer network such as the Internet, to present a subtitle, an image or the like in accordance with the reproduction, to allow a user to freely edit a sound video-retrieving database, and to allow disclosure and utilization of it on the network. SOLUTION: An in-video retrieval reproduction editing system is constructed wherein, a recording medium (a) including a sound video identifiable by a code (D), a recording medium (b) including a frame card database, and a retrieval engine which can search the recording medium (a) by use of information held by the recording medium (b) and can output a retrieval result are installed on the network, the retrieval is executed when the retrieval is requested from a terminal device, the desired sound video is pinpointedly reproduced by use of the retrieval result, and the terminal device installed with an application synchronously presenting the subtitle or the image can be connected to the network.
