PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sort and discharge paper money for every denomination without making it necessary to install any complicate mechanism in a paper money processing apparatus for bundling paper moneys for every denomination, and for discharging the paper money from a discharge port. SOLUTION: This paper money processing apparatus 1 includes: an accumulation means 7 for accumulating paper money for every denomination; and a bundling means 12 for bundling the paper moneys accumulated by the accumulation means 7, and for discharging the paper money from a discharge port 13, and configured to discharge a paper money bundle 20 bundled by the bundling means 12 based on a discharge speed V set for every denomination of paper money.
