PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator car capable of enhancing the checking work efficiency of a landing apparatus by providing a checking lid on an upper surface of an air rectification cover installed on an upper part of a cage so that the landing apparatus can be checked while an operator inclining forward from a checking window formed by opening the checking lid. SOLUTION: An upper air rectification cover 21 is supported by an upper skeleton structure mounted on an upper frame 17 of a car frame 16, constituted in a tapered shape in the elevating/lowering direction, and arranged so as to cover an upper surface of a cage 11. An opening/closing door 24 is provided in an apron cover panel 22 constituting a front surface in the depth direction of the upper air rectification cover, and located above an entrance of the cage 11, and a checking lid 29 is provided on a top of a first upper air rectification cover panel 26 constituting the upper air rectification cover 21.
