PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient toll collection system for a toll road where the reception of a passing ticket is not needed for the application of the discount of a use toll by utilizing an ETC (Electronic Toll Collection (R)) system. SOLUTION: In the toll collection system for the toll road, when it is decided that a vehicle whose entry into an entrance lane of an entrance tollgate is detected is an ETC card non-insertion vehicle, the vehicle information of the vehicle is stored in a management table of a central processor 100 associatively with entrance information. When a vehicle whose entry into an entrance lane of an exit tollgate is the vehicle stored in the management table of the central processor 100, the use toll is calculated based on the entrance information stored in the management table. Based on a calculation result thereof, the ETC discount is applied when an ETC card is presented from a driver, so that the convenient toll collection system for the toll road where the reception of the passing ticket is not needed for the application of the discount of the use toll by utilizing the ETC system can be provided.
