PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device that properly applies a conductive resin to ground a transparent conductive film formed on the rear surface of a transparent substrate, and suppressing interferences between an upper frame and the conductive resin. SOLUTION: The liquid crystal display device includes a liquid crystal layer formed between two facing transparent substrates (SUB1 and SUB2), and connects a transparent conductive film (TCF) formed on a surface different from the liquid crystal layer side of one transparent substrate (SUB2) and a transparent ground electrode pad (TC) formed on a part of the surface of the liquid crystal layer side of the other transparent substrate by the conductive resin.
