PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fitting structure of a ferrule that endures external stress and keeps a stable optical output level. SOLUTION: The fitting structure of the ferrule includes a first split ferrule which is in physical contact with an outer line side and a second split ferrule which is formed as a different body. The second split ferrule is inserted in a fitting member. The first split ferrule is coaxially aligned therewith and loosely inserted in the fitting member via a sleeve, in contact with the second split ferrule, and the end parts of the contact split ferrules are formed in a convex spherical shape.
