The present invention relates to a biological electricity creating device which is provided in the aerobic tanks or anaerobic tanks of sewage/wastewater treatment facilities, and which generates electricity, while organic matter in the sewage/wastewater is being removed, by using the electrons and the hydrogen ions which are produced in the process of breaking down the organic matter; wherein a plurality of microbial fuel cells are devised so as to be able to respond effectively to the environment in which they are installed including in terms of the sewage/wastewater properties, size and type by being made easy to install and remove, and wherein the reduction electrode parts used in the microbial fuel cells are exposed to the external air, thereby giving advantages not only in that the installation, operation and maintenance costs of the device are reduced because extra devices such as oxygen-supply devices are eliminated and separating films are replaced with highly cost effective materials, but also in that it can exhibit effects such as increasing the amount of resident bacteria, inducing an effective flow of treatment water and suppressing sludge sedimentation by means of changes to the structure of the oxidation electrode.
