Disclosed is an oil seal structure provided with: a ring gear (40) that has an inner surface; an outer plate (20) that has an outer surface facing the inner surface of the ring gear (40) and is provided coaxially with the ring gear (40) so as to be able to rotate relative thereto; and an inner seal member (70) that fits up against the inner surface of the ring gear (40). The inner seal member (70) has a seal lip section (72), which can slide against the outer surface of the outer place (20) (specifically, an outer race (23)), and prevents oil from leaking out between the inner surface of the ring gear (40) and the outer surface of the outer plate (20). An oil retaining part (H1) that retains oil is provided near the region (S) of the outer surface of the outer plate (20) along which the seal lip section (72) slides. |
