<p>PURPOSE: An energy storage system and a control method thereof are provided to charge a battery by directly receiving power from a restored system, thereby stably supplying power to a load even though a system is out of order. CONSTITUTION: An electric power generating system(100) generates electrical energy using new energy or renewable energy. A first electric power converting unit(410) is connected between an electric power system and a first node(N1). A bidirectional inverter(430) is connected between a first node and a second node(N2). A bidirectional converter(440) is connected between a battery(460) and the first node. A DC voltage stabilizing unit(420) is connected between the first node and the bidirectional inverter.</p> |
