<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resistance film type touch panel which detects the position of a contact point from electrical continuity at the contact point where opposing detection side resistance film and rear side resistance film contact by deformation due to pressing and which suppresses false detection due to a conductive foreign matter mixed between the detection side resistance film and the rear side resistance film. <P>SOLUTION: The detection side resistance film 13 is formed in a grid pattern so as to cover protruding parts 15 formed on a detection side transparent substrate 11. Thus, there are places on the detection side transparent substrate 11 where the detection side resistance film 13 is not formed. Thereby, even if the conductive foreign matter is mixed between the rear side resistance film 14 on the rear side transparent substrate 12 and the detection side transparent substrate 11, an electrical short circuit between the detection side resistance film 13 and the rear side resistance film 14 due to the foreign matter hardly occurs and the occurrence probability of false detection can be reduced, compared to the case where the detection side resistance film 13 is entirely formed on the detection side transparent substrate 11. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
