PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device for obtaining the same result as the case when all weighting coefficients are stored, without storing all weighting coefficients when restoring an image signal. SOLUTION: The imaging device includes: a photodetector array 1 formed by arranging photodetectors in column and row directions; and a light transmitting filter 2 installed in front of the photodetector array 1 and formed by alternately arranging a plurality of kinds of band-shaped light transmitters having different light-transmitting characteristics along a direction not parallel with both the column and row directions where the photodetectors are arranged. The imaging device further includes: a storage 5 storing the partial weighting coefficients in a plurality of the weighting coefficients for acquiring the weighting sum of the image signals output by each of a plurality of the mutually adjacent photodetectors; and a processing element 4 reading some of the weighting coefficients stored in the storage 5 from the storage 5, acquiring the other weighting coefficients on the basis of the read weighting coefficients and conducting an arithmetic processing for obtaining the weighting sum of the image signals by using the other acquired weighting coefficients and the weighting coefficients.
