摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide high image quality by reducing the influence of dark-current noise even if a dynamic range is expanded under a condition for high-sensitivity shooting. SOLUTION: An imaging device comprises: a photodiode (PD) receiving light, generating electric charges according to the received light, and storing the charges; a floating diffusion (FD) storing electric charges; and an electric charge holding section (MEM) disposed between the PD and the FD. In a first operation mode (step S106), the MEM is connected with the FD by a second transfer switch while charges are stored in the PD, and in a second operation mode (step A107), the MEM is disconnected from the FD by the second transfer switch while charges are stored in the PD.
