PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the holder device of a microtome blade capable of holding the microtome blade so as not to produce clatter even if the thickness of the microtome blade is different. SOLUTION: In the holder device S of the microtome blade, a pressure member 400 for pressing the blade body of the microtome blade H is arranged between a press plate 200 and a placing surface 114. The holder device S prevents a change in the pressure posture of the pressure member 400 to the blade body when the spaced-apart distance from the placing surface 114 of the pressure member 400 is changed according to the thickness of the blade body of the microtome blade and is provided with a locking ridge 232 and a locking groove 410 both of which move the pressure member 400 centering around the axial line set along the pressure member 400 in the longitudinal direction so as to permit a change in the posture of the press plate 200.
