<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device capable of temporarily substituting paper of a size that has run out in a paper feeding tray by paper in a paper feeding tray of another size. <P>SOLUTION: The paper feeding and conveying device includes a first paper feeding part 201 feeding and conveying paper and having a first tray 208 for mounting the paper, a second paper feeding part 202 feeding and conveying paper and having a second tray 210 mounted with paper of a size double of the paper mounted on the first tray 208, a paper cutting part 50 provided in a conveyance path of paper such that putting in and taking out can be carried out and cutting the paper, and a paper feeding control means (a system controller 180) supplying paper from the first tray 208, and feeding and conveying paper by selecting the second tray 210, cutting the paper into half in the middle of conveyance by the paper cutting part 50, and then carrying out conveyance when the paper of the first tray 208 becomes empty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
